For my a.m snack today, I decided that I wanted to have veggies because of their high fiber, low calorie, nutrient packed composition!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Greek low fat yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh or dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

In a small bowl, mix yogurt, dill, garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper. To get the lemon zest, grate the outer skin of the lemon. This is only 155 calories for the whole dip! Remember to not have all in one sitting, have a tablespoon with different veggies. Can be covered and kept in fridge for up to 1 week!

I LOVE garlic, so I used 2 cloves, but for you non-garlic lovers, 1 clove might be enough for you!

This is a great snack, full of protein! If you haven’t tried Greek yogurt, it almost tastes like sour cream. Greek yogurt can be used in place of sour cream, and is also amazing by itself with some fresh fruit on top! The tart taste mixed with fresh fruit including strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or blackberries is out of this world!

I know very few people who actually enjoy the taste of veggies, this dip not only adds nutrients, but great flavor to any veggies! Try this recipe today!
